Great location, quiet, comfortable beds.
Only one thing - the pillows were exceptionally hard and uncomfortable. Everything else was great.

We are a family of 5 with young kids and elderly. Out of the 4 hotels we have booked for this trip, via inn umeda has the lowest score. The only pro is the location with lots of food choices. Kura sushi is nearby.
If there is no comparison between the other 3 hotels we have stayed, we won't know what is good service. My luggage forwarded by them was a disaster. We had no issues with the previous hotels' forwarding luggage. They did all the paperwork for us. Via inn umeda told us to fill in ourselves, which we rejected as we are not confident. The lady insisted till we told her our previous hotels filled the form for us. Although we have packed milk powder and diapers in our hand carry, we were so worried when we did not see our luggage the next day. We realised the staff did not indicate the date and time to be sent, which means our luggage can be sent at any time. We have informed her we will be in tokyo the next day. We went around crazily looking for diapers till late night , and we finally found 1 drugstore that carry them. It was a mental stress. Another thing is one staff insisted to speak English to guests even though he could speak Mandarin. It was a hard time communicating. His English is really broken. We knew he could speak Mandarin, when he came up to us to remind my noisy kids to lower their voices using Mandarin. However, when we asked for directions the next day, he couldn't speak Mandarin suddenly. Speechless.

Wonderful
Great location. If you can find the underground path to the hotel. You dont have to drag your luggage to cross the street.
Don't eat food around the hotel, taste bad, expensive, scam. Go to eat in the mall.
